Vodafone plan guide
Everything Vodafone publishes about the plans sold with your phone: SuperMobile and Mobile plans, Extras, roaming zones, charges outside your plan, fees and the Xchange, trade-in and warranty options. Vodafone's own terms are the binding version.

Plans and what they include
Vodafone sells two families of plan with a phone. SuperMobile adds 5G+ FastTrack and guaranteed minimum speeds. Mobile is the standard plan. Each comes in tiers: Standard, Xtra, Plus and Premier.

How the price works
- Each 1 April your airtime plan charge goes up by £2.50 a month on Pay monthly airtime and data plans, and £1.50 on Basics plans. Device plan repayments do not change.
- Out-of-bundle charges rise each April by the January CPI rate plus 3.9%.
- With a phone, Vodafone EVO splits your bill into two contracts: a Phone Plan that pays for the phone (0% APR consumer credit, with your choice of upfront cost) and an Airtime Plan for data, minutes and texts. You get two Direct Debits and two bank references, VODAFONE LTD and VODAFONE LTD DEVICE.
- Your first bill is for one full month in advance and may include one-off charges such as the upfront cost or delivery. Each later bill covers the next month in advance plus any out-of-plan charges.
- Vodafone Together: extra Pay monthly mobile or broadband plans added to your account get discounts.
- Representative example: £1,000 phone, £100 upfront, 0% APR, £900 credit over 24 months is £37.50 a month.

Without a pass or inclusive roaming, Zone B costs £2.75 a day. You can only hold one pass at a time, a pass starts when you start roaming, and an unused part cannot be rolled over if you roam for less than 8 days. Picture messages, premium calls and premium texts are excluded.

Pay as you go Plus customers must buy the relevant Extra before roaming, making an international call or text, or calling a premium rate number. Roaming Extras start the moment you buy them.
Roaming zones
Every Pay monthly plan includes Zone A. Plus plans add Zone B (Euro Roam, 52 destinations) and Premier plans add Zone C (Global Roam, 84 destinations). Zone D and the Rest of the World cost extra.

Each 62 days abroad in a four-month period, or more usage abroad than in the UK, can lead to extra charges after a text warning 14 days before: 3.3p a minute, 1p a text and £3.83 per GB, even in inclusive destinations.
Fair usage when roaming
- Pay monthly plans have a 25GB roaming limit. If your UK data is over 25GB you can use up to 25GB a month abroad, then pay £3.84 per GB until your next bill date or you return to the UK. If your UK allowance is smaller you can use all of it.
- Roaming is for short trips. If you roam for more than 62 days, or use more in roaming destinations than the UK, within four months, Vodafone may add charges.
- Roaming in the Republic of Ireland is at no extra cost for everyone, subject to the 25GB limit, to protect customers in Northern Ireland from accidental roaming.
- Vodafone Basics plans bought before 22 July 2022 have no roaming.
- Turn off any roaming bar in My Vodafone before you use a roaming Extra. Use WiFi when buying one abroad.

Spend Manager
Set a limit on out-of-plan charges: premium rate access charges, data, minutes and texts, picture messages, video calls, EU, Global and Rest of the World roaming, premium texts and short codes. Change it in the My Vodafone app or by calling 41156 free from a Vodafone mobile. Extras (including roaming passes), the service charge for premium calls, insurance, anything charged to your bill, fees and early termination charges are not covered. A limit of £0 stops use in destinations your plan does not cover unless you buy an Extra.
Fees, returns and leaving
How returns, delivery and cancelling work.
- Returns: tell Vodafone within 14 days if you changed your mind, or 30 days if the item is faulty, and send it back within 14 days. Returns are free to a store or with the emailed label. Charges outside your plan, such as international calls, are not refunded. Phones are checked for Like New condition, accessories, and that Find My is off; you may be charged for damage. Some phones, such as the iPhone 18 Pro Max, must be returned in store.
- Delivery: order by 10pm on weekdays for next working day delivery (free online, £6.99 through an agent). Free store collection about 30 minutes after it is ready. Premium time slots are £9.99. SIM-only orders cannot be sent next day. DPD and Royal Mail deliver; DPD sends a four-digit PIN to give the driver.
- Leaving: get a PAC to switch networks. Vodafone Together discounts on other plans carry on to the end of their minimum term. Active Extras and their allowances are lost, and Vodafone Insurance is cancelled with your number unless a device loan is unpaid. Pay as you go credit can be refunded for up to 60 days.

Xchange, trade-in, warranty and rewards
The benefits that come with a phone bought on Vodafone EVO.
Vodafone Xchange
Exchange your phone for a new one every year on a 24-month Phone Plan, or a year early on longer plans. Send your old phone back in good condition a year before your Phone Plan ends. There are no early upgrade fees and nothing left to pay on the old plan. If your phone is worth more than the balance, the difference is credited. Available on eligible new phones and all pristine refurbished phones.
Trade-in Guarantee
Use the Trade-in Tool in the My Vodafone app or online to get a code with a guaranteed value, valid for seven days. Put it towards a new Airtime Plan as a monthly saving, as account credit, or towards your current Phone Plan. Send your old phone back within 14 days. Vodafone refurbishes or resells 97% of the phones it receives.
Lifetime Service Promise
- Lifetime Warranty: phones bought on Vodafone EVO on or after 26 July 2023 are covered for repairs against manufacturer faults for as long as you have a Pay monthly Airtime Plan with Vodafone.
- Battery Refresh: free battery health checks and replacements for the length of your Phone Plan.
- Phones bought before 26 July 2023, and watches and tablets, have the Two-Year Warranty against manufacturer faults, including Apple products.
Rewards and apps
- VeryMe Rewards: weekly treats, prizes and discounts for Pay monthly and Pay as you go Plus customers in the My Vodafone app.
- My Vodafone app: manage your plans, buy Extras and chat with the TOBi assistant 24 hours a day.
- Unlimited picture messages and device care checks are included with plans bought with a device.
- OneNumber: use the same number on a connected watch or tablet.
